AquilaDigital Partnership has released UTC Global Clock 3.0, an application program that supports an unlimited number of time displays, each appearing in your menu bar or screen corner. Local time, universal time (UTC), and all world time zones are supported. Count-up and countdown timers, stopwatches, hourly chimes, and other useful functionality has been added.

Dejal Systems, LLC today announced the immediate availability of Dejal Caboodle 1.1.4, a useful application to collect text, images, and other content. Volitans software today announces SMART Utility 1.2, a significant update to the hard drive diagnostic scanning application. The new features include more readable attribute names, displaying the model family, sending additional information to the smartctl engine, and French localization. SMART Utility is an application to scan the internal hardware diagnostics system of hard drives.

The Digital Lifestyle today launched a new page featuring quick (one minute or less) independent video reviews of all of the currently available iPod games from the iTunes music store. Apple today announced that new movie releases from major film studios and premier independent studios are available for purchase on iTunes on the same day as their DVD release. New releases and catalog titles will be available from 20th Century Fox, The Walt Disney Studios, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Lionsgate, Image Entertainment and First Look Studios. Movies purchased from iTunes can be viewed on an iPod with video, iPhone, Mac or PC or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV, with new releases priced at US$14.99 and most catalog titles at $9.99…
