A Few Important Notes: Site Updates; Press Releases; Contributors
April 1st, 2008
As many of you may have noticed, we’ve been a bit behind on posting news items over the last few weeks. This was largely due to problems with our content management system. However, everything is working fine now and over the next few weeks we hope to clear up any remaining CSS bugs (particularly the AJAX login system which is working far from perfectly).
Due to the huge number of press releases we get everyday, we have decided to streamline the manner in which we publish press releases. Those companies wishing to have their press releases published should submit them via PR Mac. Not only does this simplify the process for us by transferring your release into our database with a single click, but it also means you are able to get your material out to many other tech focused websites at the same time. This is not to say that if you can’t use PR Mac for whatever reason you shouldn’t still email us press releases. We are still interested in hearing about your products, but if you want the actual release published on the site, it should come via PR Mac.
Next on the agenda: We will soon be looking for anyone interested writing for maccrazy. Further details will follow over the next few weeks, but basically we are looking for people with at least three years experience with Macs, a good command of the English language and the time to either write a weekly/monthly column or review. If you think this sounds like you, then be sure to check back over the next few weeks for further details. If you wish to register your interest now, please contact contributors@maccrazy.net
