iForm is a program that you use to serve and process HTML forms. Its basic functionality collects form data submitted by a web browser and then emails that data using formatting templates to select recipients, as well as saving it to a text log file which can be imported into a database.

John Maisey announces the release of Dates to iCal 2, a replacement for Apple’s birthday calendar for iCal in Leopard. As well as automatically syncing birthday dates from Address Book, Dates to iCal 2 can sync anniversaries and custom dates, as well as enables up to five alarms for each synced date in iCal. It has a range of features to allow the user to choose what, and what not, to sync to iCal from Address Book.

Word on the street is that Apple’s iPhone SDK will not in fact be delivered by the end of the month as previously expected. In fact, BusinessWeek reports that the official release date could slide by anywhere from one to three weeks. Apple has consistently delivered new products every Tuesday since Macworld. This Tuesday is expected to be no exception, with minor MacBook upgrades expected to feature the new MacBook Air styled track pad and minor speed bumps). So what is behind the delay? Little is known, but at this stage the SDK is likely to be largely completed. However, there are two other facts that must be considered…

Today, MacFamilyTree 5, the popular genealogy application for the Mac, leaps ahead with the arrival of the newest update: version 5.1 is released by Synium Software as fully functional Public Beta and can be downloaded as a free demo.
