And We’re Back!
January 12th, 2008
After more than a year offline, maccrazy is back just in time to bring you coverage Macworld San Fransisco 2008. A lot has happened while we have been away. Apple has gained market share and further recognition for its products, as well as completing the transition from PPC to Intel chips. Along with new Macs, the iPhone has revolutionising the cellphone industry and Mac OS X has continued to evolve with the release of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
Websites take a great deal of time to design, code and test. Though the majority of the site is ready to go, there are still a few features that are yet to be released (such as our interactive product roadmap), style sheets to be completed and bugs to be ironed out. However, all the important features are up and running, so be sure to register an account to access all the new features, including the ability to discuss current articles. We’ve also added buttons in a slide down menu (top right) for all the major social bookmarking websites, along with article feeds that you can use in a news reader or to publish our headlines on your site.
maccrazy was one of the leading Mac community websites prior to our temporary closure for a redesign. The new site is now more focused on reviews, special feature articles, opinion columns and interviews rather than just reciting the latest news. However, we will still be covering major news announcements and posting press releases as we receive them. maccrazy is now part of the TJR Networks content network.
We hope to get visitor numbers back to previous levels within the next two months, so please help us out by letting all of your friends, family and fellow workers know that we’re back!
